I'm Hannah, a youth pastor, ministry student, writer, and theology nerd living in Nebraska. I've been writing devotionals for as long as I can remember, but rarely have I shared them. I love writing for specific groups, so this broad and general devotional for the Internet is a new challenge for me that I'm super excited about. Eventually, I want to contribute to devotional books and write one of my own, so I am excited about the potential a blog has to reach others who need applications of the Word to their lives and what they are going through.
I chose to write about forgiveness as my first series, because this is a place I have been deeply struggling recently, as a survivor of sexual assault and in my process of trying to forgive the guy. However, I am also passionate about looking at the Bible and how it applies to other things I'm going through or have gone through, like my hearing loss, suicide, mental health, and general, growing-up sort of things.
I am 20 years old, and I absolutely love my life and dedicating it to God. Writing these sorts of things bring me so much joy. I know each series will be a bit different, so if you are not a survivor or sexual assault or someone wanting to read about forgiveness right now, don't worry! The next series will be quite different, as will all of the ones following. I do not want to be stuck on the same format or ideas in each series.
